Tell CMS to Keep Proposed Nursing Facility Code Values

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed increases to the work RVUs for nursing facility codes starting in 2023. The Society is encouraging our members to submit comments to CMS urging them to keep and finalize these rates. The work of PALTC clinicians has increased since the COVID pandemic and CMS needs to stabilize the payment structure to ensure this setting can keep qualified clinicians in skilled nursing facilities.

Help us by submitting comments on the CMS Proposed Physician Fee Schedule and tell CMS to finalize the nursing facility code RVUs. The link below will take you to the Society’s grassroots page where you can easily submit comments directly to CMS. Comments are due by September 6, 2022.
