We thank Cintra and colleagues1 for pointing out the errors in our analyses.2 We re-extracted the data and recalculated the analyses and made 3 corrections. First, the mean difference of the survival period was −5.59 [95% confidence interval (CI) −178.11, 166.92] for patients with advanced dementia receiving tube feeding compared to those without tube feeding in the original version of our article. The revised mean difference was 20.82 (95% CI −95.67, 137.32). Second, the odds ratio (OR) of pneumonia was 2.25 (95% CI 0.81, 6.24) for patients with advanced dementia receiving tube feeding compared to those without tube feeding in the original version of our article.
