In the context of Singapore, CHs are important post-acute and intermediate care facilities allowing early transitions of patients from acute hospitals for stabilisation and rehabilitation before discharge to home and long-term care. The majority of CH patients consist of those who need a prolonged period of rehabilitation or require an extended recovery phase from their medical conditions. In this Delphi study, we aimed to identify the top 10 research priorities in CHs in Singapore to set the academic research agendas within this fast-growing sector and against the backdrop of a rapidly ageing population.
