Reminder: Register for a Virtual Office Hours to Discuss the 2022 MIPS Self-Nomination Processes for Qualified Registries and QCDRs
The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a virtual “office hours” session on Thursday, August 19, 2021, from 1:00–2:30 PM ET to provide an opportunity for participants to ask questions about the Qualified Registry and Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) self-nomination processes for the 2022 performance year of the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
Participants are encouraged to ask questions regarding the Qualified Registry and QCDR self-nomination forms available in the Quality Payment Program website as well as the QCDR Measure Submission Form for those submitting QCDR measures.
What are QCDRs and Qualified Registries?
Qualified Registries and QCDRs are CMS-approved third-party intermediaries that collect clinical data on behalf of clinicians for data submission. Only entities wishing to become (and who meet the requirements of) a Qualified Registry and/or QCDR entity need to complete the self-nomination form.
You should attend the session if your organization plans to self-nominate as a 2022 Qualified Registry or QCDR. Participation in this virtual office hours is optional.
Note: MIPS-eligible clinicians wishing to report for the 2022 performance year of MIPS via a Qualified Registry or QCDR reporting mechanism do not need to self-nominate.
