Preserving the Practice of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care

Competent clinicians in post-acute and long-term care are desperately needed. Recent situations in which clinicians were displaced from facilities where they had a long-standing relationship have brought attention to these unfortunate marketplace dynamics. Given our limited workforce to provide care, I have long postulated that such competitive forces are unnecessary and counterproductive.
