Practice Management and Leadership Focused Sessions Bring Added Perspective to the Annual Conference

Policy Snapshot

This year during the Society’s 2018 Annual Conference (March 21-25 in Grapevine, TX) the new Practice Group Network has sponsored sessions to address leadership and management knowledge necessary for running a successful post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) practice.

The practice management sessions will explore the business and clinical leadership side of PALTC practices in the ever-changing new value-based medicine environment. Some of the goals of these sessions are to help position PALTC practices to succeed under the new Quality Payment Program as well as develop tools to assist with efficient practice operations such as health information technology.

Another new educational program being offered this year is an all-day pre-conference program that will provide an extensive update on current trends and policies, as well as what the Society is doing in this area. This is a ticketed session that has reached capacity and registration has closed. If you miss this session look for the recording of the session after the conference.
