Opportunities and Challenges for AI in Long-Term Care: Pharmacists’ Perspectives

Artificial intelligence (AI) is gaining traction across the health care industry. AI algorithms and machine learning can help clinicians rapidly analyze large tracts of data — including medical records and drug-drug interactions — and help tailor recommendations to individual needs. However, there are still many potential drawbacks to the widespread use of AI, and clinicians have varying opinions about the appropriate use of AI in their workplace (Explor Res Clin Soc Pharm 2023;12:100326).
