New, Revised Resources for a Medical Director’s Roles

As post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) moves further into the world of value-based care, and other regulatory changes, medical directors need practical, topical resources. To help, the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) is producing a series of brief papers focusing on key roles of the medical director in PALTC. The first of these documents, “The Role of the Medical Director in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement,” was published in July. Three more papers are in development and will be posted on the PALTmed website in the coming months.
