Must-Keep New Year’s Resolutions

As another year has come and gone, we have taken the time to reflect on issues, changes, and resources that have changed the post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) space this year, including the Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM), Skilled Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing (SNF VBP), and changes to the Physician Fee Schedule. We pondered what else will impact our field in the coming year, including Phase 3 of the revised Requirements of Participation originally released in 2016 and further changes involving Alternative Payment Models (APMs) and the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).
