Multiple Medications Increase Fall Risk, Study Confirms

Several classes of drugs can increase the risk of falls in older individuals, both at home and in long-term care. Older individuals who experience falls are more likely to have taken fall risk–inducing drugs (FRIDs) than those who have not fallen, a Canadian study found.
