Learning to Be an Ally: Promoting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Long-Term Care

Irecently attended a regional annual meeting of post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) leaders. As the participants filled the meeting room, I was surprised by how few women and individuals of color I saw. What I saw in the leadership representation clearly wasn’t reflective of the staff in PALTC nor the patients we serve.
