Latent Cognitive Profiles Predict 1-Year Mental Health, Insomnia, Falls, Daily Functioning, and Pain in US Older Adults: A National Longitudinal Study

Cognitive profiles extend traditional binary classifications by revealing subtle, domain-specific deficits in cognitively intact older adults. This study investigates their predictive value for 1-year outcomes in mental health, insomnia, pain, falls, and daily functioning among older adults without cognitive impairment to improve risk stratification and enable tailored interventions.
