Join the National Office Hours Call on the Ending of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency
Please join the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for an informational event on April 25, 2023, from 3:30-4:30 PM ET to help providers, facilities, and people with Medicare prepare for the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) at midnight ET on May 11, 2023. CMS leaders and expert staff will present an overview of the effects of the PHE’s ending on current waivers and flexibilities and then answer questions.
In preparation for this webinar, we encourage you to review the following resources to determine what questions remain that will support your efforts after the end of the PHE: What Do I Need to Know? CMS Waivers, Flexibilities, and the Transition Forward from the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, the Current Emergencies page, and the Coronavirus Waivers and Flexibilities pages.
When you register, you will see an option to ask questions in advance of the webinar. Please enter any questions on the registration form and officials will work to address them during the session. Even though they won’t be able to individually answer all questions, they are helpful in preparing presentations and materials.
RSVP for the webinar. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the call. Please query that email address only about logistics related to the call. When you click the link to join the call on April 25, you will see a message stating that the host will allow you to join the event momentarily. Please continue to wait at that screen until the CMS team opens the call and admits everyone.
