Implementing a Fall Prevention Program in a Dementia Care Unit

The purpose of this project was to reduce falls and fall-related injuries at a long-term care facility by fostering a safe environment. This project evaluated the feasibility and impact of staff education and hourly purposeful rounding on fall rates in the dementia care unit of a long-term care facility.
