We thank Dufournet et al for a thorough review of factors involving nursing home placement for patients with cognitive difficulty.1 However, their conclusion gives the impression that the extent of cognitive impairment, neuropsychiatric symptoms, and behavioral disorders, has little to no impact on caregiver burden scale that merits further discussion.
