How I Implemented What I Learned About Diabetes in This Issue of Caring for the Ages

As a nurse practitioner who has a specialty practice focused on the neuropsychiatric assessment and management of older adults living with dementia in post-acute and long-term care communities, I don’t have opportunities to engage in the primary management of patients with diabetes. However, this special issue of Caring for the Ages provided me with the opportunity to learn more about an area of clinical medicine that has experienced significant developments.
