The existing literature has shown that different factors related to nutrition can affect frailty.1 In our previous work, we had observed a beneficial effect of Mediterranean Diet on the prevalence of frailty. In the current study, we opted to examine the relationship between different food groups (either typical of the Mediterranean Diet or not), energy intake, and frailty status in a cohort of older adults in Greece.
