As Dr. Jeff’s editor in chief for a decade or so and an avid reader of his wisdom before and since, I am sad to see him stepping down from his podium at Caring. Jeff epitomizes what our Society aspires to — as his dozens of columns clearly communicate — and if I could boil it down to a single concept, person-centered care would hit the bullseye. We have been very fortunate to benefit from Jeff’s compassionate, clever, incisive and practi-cal perspective — and his guidance. Godspeed, my friend and colleague!
