Comment on “Multicomponent Interventions for Functional Outcomes in Hospitalized Older Patients: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”

We read with great interest the article “Multicomponent Interventions for Functional Outcomes in Hospitalized Older Patients: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis”1 recently published in JAMDA. We commend the authors for addressing such a timely and clinically relevant topic, given the potential of multicomponent strategies to preserve functional status in hospitalized older adults.
