CMS Extends Fire Safety Waivers

Last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a revised memo on the use of fire safety evaluation systems (FSES) and fire safety requirements. The revised memo will now extend the amount of time facilities have to correct certain deficiencies until November 1, 2023.
