Civil Money Penalty Reinvestment Program Updates

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted memo QSO-23-23-NH, describing revisions to the structure of the Civil Money Penalty (CMP) Reinvestment Program, including:

• Allowable Uses of CMP projects
• Non-Allowable Uses of CMP Funds
• Ensuring Internet Access for Residents

The CMPRP website has also been updated with this information. CMP Reinvestment Program projects can now be accepted and approved under these new criteria.
