The Characteristics of Patients Using Home-Based Primary Care in Korea

In the aging era, the number of homebound patients living with chronic diseases is increasing. As the patients who are unable to visit medical institutions independently are increasing, the importance of home-based medical care (HBMC) is increasing in which medical personnel visits patients’ homes to provide medical services. This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of patients who requiring home-based primary care (HBPC) in Korea.
