Cardiac Limited Ultrasound Exam (CLUE) Protocol for CHF Management in a Skilled Nursing Facility Setting

Cardiac Limited Ultrasound Exam (CLUE) protocol using portable ultrasound has been being more widely adopted by clinicians to augment the bedside cardiac physical examination, especially for patients with CHF. We present a case to illustrate the role of portable ultrasound in CHF management to reduce the risk of hospital readmission for patients in SNF settings.
