Aging adults in the United States are living longer with health conditions. Examining the disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) for commonly seen health conditions in aging adults may help to inform healthcare providers and their patients, guide interventions, decrease health-related expenses, ameliorate quality of life, and improve longevity for the rapidly growing aging adult population in the United States. This study sought to determine the burden of common health conditions in a nationally-representative sample of aging adults in the United States.
