Building the PALTC Workforce: Pennsylvania Teaching Nursing Home Demonstration

Phase I of this quality improvement demonstration aimed to evaluate the impact of academic-practice partnerships to enhance geriatric nursing education and accelerate workforce readiness, and integration of Age-Friendly Health Systems (AFHS) to improve care quality and staff engagement. Phase II aims to engage all Pennsylvania nursing homes and schools, paving the way for evaluation of scalability and replication in other states.
