Beyond Bingo: Promoting a Meaningful Activity Approach

Most post-acute and long-term care settings offer opportunities for residents to participate in activities. Common activities include bingo or card games, television, arts and crafts, exercise classes, music, and social events. Participation in activities is an excellent way to promote socialization, physical activity, well-being, and quality of life among residents.
