Enhancing Performance of a Spasticity Screening Tool Using the Minimum Data Set

Spasticity, a common, treatable movement disorder, is often undiagnosed and untreated in long-term care facilities (LTCFs).1–4 A new screening tool holds promise for addressing the under-recognition of spasticity in LTCFs, demonstrating high sensitivity and specificity in identifying residents with spasticity.4
