Last week, Reps. Darren Soto (D-FL) and Gus Billirakis (R-FL) announced the formation of a bipartisan Congressional Caucus on Infection Prevention and Control in Long-Term Care (IPC-LTC). The Caucus aims to create meaningful federal policies to control infections in LTC facilities nationwide and to protect senior citizens.

The caucus was established to implement much-needed reforms to effectively combat the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as create meaningful federal policies to control infections in LTC facilities nationwide, with the ultimate goal of protecting senior citizens and enriching their lives.

The Society looks forward to working with the caucus as they move forward with this important work.
