Artifacts of Culture Change 2.0: More than a Measurement Tool

Over the past year, as long-term care communities have faced the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, numerous stories have been shared of positive outcomes achieved related to nontraditional environments and person-directed practices (J Am Med Dir Assoc 2020;21:1519–1524). That person-directed practices, such as dedicated staffing and knowing the resident, have made a difference in so many communities is not surprising to those who have been working to support the mission and vision of Pioneer Network for over 20 years.
