Caring for the Ages
Every day, there are so many opportunities to witness the joys, frailties, regrets, hopes, fears, acts of kindness or vengeance, shyness, resilience, and love that occur in the life of staff, patients and peers in our busy venues. There is material for a lifetime. To pause and recognize what was just witnessed, write that raw information down, categorize it within our library of thoughts and feelings, see where it fits, and share it with others so engaged, if it helps them with their perspective, enthusiasm.
