AMDA President Co-Authors ADA Position Statement

Long-Term Care, Skilled Nursing Care, Diabetes

The American Diabetes Association (ADA) recently released their position statement, "Management of Diabetes in Long-Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities," and AMDA President Dr. Nsushira Pandya, MD, CMD, was a co-author. "This position statement represents an important collaboration with the ADA and other stakeholders," says Dr. Pandya. "I am extremely pleased that our experience in the PALTC setting and our CPG on the Management of a Diabetes has been recognized. This position statement will reach many endocrinologists and other practitioners and hopefully improve the care of our patients."
