Medina-Walpole Chosen to Lead Division of Geriatrics and Aging

Esteemed geriatrics clinician, mentor and educator Annette (Annie) Medina-Walpole, M.D., has been named chief of the Division of Geriatrics and Aging at the University of Rochester Medical Center. A professor in the Department of Medicine, Medina-Walpole is a natural-born leader whose influence has helped shape geriatric care and training since she came to Rochester in 1998. She is certified as a Medical Director for Long-Term Care by the American Medical Directors Association/American Board of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine.
