The objective of this quality improvement (QI) project was to evaluate whether a structured, evidence-based educational intervention impacted post-acute and long-term care (PALTC) clinical staff knowledge, confidence, and perceived clinical importance of Abnormal Involuntary Movement Scale (AIMS) screening for tardive dyskinesia (TD). This initiative targeted interdisciplinary PALTC staff involved in resident observation, assessment, or AIMS screening. The measurable aim was to demonstrate statistically significant improvement across the measured domains.
