Perceptions of Machine Learning Use in Nursing Homes

Machine learning (ML) has potential to support nursing homes in addressing workforce shortages, clinical complexity, and regulatory demands. However, its application in NHs remains underexplored. We aimed to assess nursing home clinicians’ familiarity with ML, perceived use cases, and barriers to adoption following a dedicated educational session.
