Introduction: Daptomycin is a lipopeptide antibiotic that disrupts the cell membranes of gram-positive bacteria. It can be associated with significant adverse effects, including myopathy, rhabdomyolysis, diarrhea, rash, and less commonly, eosinophilic pneumonia. We present a case of a delayed diagnosis of eosinophilic pneumonia after receiving daptomycin therapy in the skilled nursing setting.
