PALTmed Pennsylvania Chapter: Forging a New Path Forward

The Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed) Pennsylvania Chapter, formerly known as the Pennsylvania Medical Directors Association (PMDA), found itself at a crossroads in late 2024. Struggling to recover from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the chapter’s budget was no longer sustainable, threatening its future. Faced with this challenge, the chapter made a bold decision to dissolve its independent operations and integrate into the broader PALTmed network.
