Total hip and knee replacements are increasingly performed in older adults,1 who remain at elevated risk for postoperative complications,2 underscoring the need to optimize preoperative preparation. In response, we developed the PRE4OS multimodal prehabilitation program (MPP),3 a structured 6-week intervention combining weekly 1-day hospital (ODH) sessions and home-based physiotherapy. The program integrates individualized geriatric assessments, nutritional counseling, psychological support, functional training, exergame-based cognitive and physical exercises,4 and educational sessions addressing surgery-related issues.
