Change Comes Fast in New Administration

Alex Bardakh, MPP, CAE, PLC, senior director of advocacy and strategic partnerships of the Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medical Association (PALTmed), has been through four administration changes in his professional life, and he’s learned that the only truly safe prediction is that there will be changes. During General Session III at PALTC25, the annual conference of PALTmed, he shared some insights — but not predictions — about what PALTC professionals might expect from legislators and regulatory agencies in the months ahead.
