LGBTQ+ Equity Amongst Veterans in Long-Term Care

More than 500,000 older military veterans identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, questioning, transgender, and related identities (LGBTQ+). Fearing mistreatment or lower quality care, many of these individuals may be reluctant to enter Community Living Centers (CLCs), which are nursing homes operated by the Veterans Administration.
