Over the years, hundreds of physicians have gone through the Core Curriculum to receive their Certified Medical Director (CMD) designation. Almost unanimously, people have described the program as eye-opening and empowering. Both new and veteran physicians go through the Core to get the tools they need to succeed as a medical director. “They get knowledge and information that enables them to keep up with the changing health care system and the evolving needs of our residents,” said Barbara C. Tommasulo, MD, CMD, LNHA, CWSP, a Core Curriculum faculty member.
