Fight Over Staffing Minimums Can’t Overshadow Need for Comprehensive Nursing Home Reform

All eyes in the U.S. long-term care sector are focused on the fight over a new mandatory minimum staffing level for nursing homes — which is a shame, because it means so many of the other factors that go into building a resilient, stable, and empowered caregiving workforce have disappeared from the discourse entirely.
