Dave was an 86-year-old patient with Parkinson’s disease dementia. He had a fall at home and after a brief stay at the hospital came to the facility where I work for skilled care. I had known Dave for about six months at the point of admission; he had intermittent episodes of delirium, but the care team and I were usually able to correct them quickly.
