Psychotropic Drug Prescriptions in Assisted Living Increased During the Pandemic

Prescriptions of psychotropic drugs increased during the first two years of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a greater increase of antipsychotic drugs prescribed to individuals with dementia, according to a study of assisted living facilities in Alberta, Canada.
