MQIHA-ECHO: An Innovative Private-Public Partnership to Improve Quality Outcomes in Post-Acute Facilities

We are writing to report on an innovative private-public partnership to improve outcomes in post-acute facilities. We collaborated in a novel partnership between Project ECHO (Extensions for Community Health Outcomes), state agencies, and managed care organizations (MCOs) to improve post-acute facility outcomes in New Mexico. These particular partnerships were chosen to have the greatest impact on the quality of care for post-acute facility residents in New Mexico.
