AMDA Strengthens Partnership with Gerontology Nurses

November 16, 2016

AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine is strengthening its relationship with the Gerontological Advanced Practice Nurses Association (GAPNA) to increase quality education and access to resources. “The Society’s and GAPNA’s members already work side-by-side on a daily basis to care for our nation’s most vulnerable populations,” said says Society Executive Director Christopher Laxton, CAE, in the Society's announcement of the initiative. It only makes sense that they also learn together and collaborate to address the many challenges facing the field of post-acute and long-term care medicine.”
