AMDA national meet Chicago-bound April 2-5

AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine’s Annual Conference will take place April 2-5 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Clinical developments in geriatric medicine, best practices, regulatory updates, networking opportunities and plenty of chances to earn continuing education credit are all on the agenda.

That Friday’s keynote session will be “Aging Well: The Great Disruptor,” led by Colin Milner, founder and CEO of the International Council on Active Aging. On Saturday, the keynote policy presentation will be by American Medical Association President Patrice Harris, M.D. Sunday’s general session will feature Matthew Lysobey, chief community integration office of Rockport Healthcare Services.

The finale will be delivered in a closing keynote presentation by Alice Bonner, Ph.D., senior advisor for aging at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. She will focus on the IHI Elderly-Friendly Health System Initiative and the role of post-acute and long-term care.
