AMDA Joins Leadership Council on Aging Organizations
Columbia, MD – AMDA – The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (AMDA) has been voted into membership in the Leadership Council on Aging Organizations (LCAO). The large coalition of national non-profit organizations serving older Americans is dedicated to preserving and strengthening the well-being of America’s older population, providing a voice for seniors and their families in the ongoing national debate on aging policy. AMDA becomes the 71st member of the diverse group of organizations of LCAO, comprised of advocacy groups, associations, research bodies, unions, and more.
“It is only fitting that AMDA become a member of LCAO,” said AMDA Executive Director Christopher Laxton, CAE. “Our interests and missions directly align and we’re excited to work together to continue to strengthen the quality of life of America’s elder population.”
