Results from a 2017-2018 research study funded by the Centre for Aging + Brain Health Innovation, funded by the Baycrest Foundation, suggest that adoption and use of Linked Senior is associated with many benefits in senior care, including improved quality of life, greater staff satisfaction, and substantial time and financial benefit. The study has show a:
• 20% decrease in anti psychotic medication use
• 18% decrease in aggressive behavior associated to dementia
• 20% increase in social engagement
• 3% increase in cognitive functioning
