The American Medical Directors Association resolves to petition the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Family Practice, and the American Osteopathic Association to reinstitute a clinical track allowing practicing physicians to receive the examination for the Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatrics if demonstration of adequate experience and Continuing Medical Education in Geriatrics is provided, and

FURTHER RESOLVES, that the American Medical Directors Association petition the House of Delegates of the American Medical Association, the American Geriatrics Society, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Physicians to adopt a similar resolution.
