THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that AMDA-The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine will work with the American Medical Association and other relevant parties to change the structure of Medicare Shared Savings Programs and other bundled payment programs to enroll eligible professionals based on their individual National Provider Identifier (NPIs) or other unique identifiers rather than in groups defined by a unique tax ID to allow each eligible professional the choice to participate in such programs.
